Pierce Food Pantry Drive Through

Pierce County Food Pantry will host another special drive-through event 11 a.m. June 13.

The event is open to residents of all counties. Food items distributed to those present will primarily be produce, including eggplant, bell pepper, zucchini, squash, green beans, corn and more.

Vehicles should gather in the field behind the former location of the Grady Street school. They will proceed up Johns Street and turn right into the Blackshear Church of God parking lot. Food will be loaded into the vehicle by volunteers, and the vehicles will exit the church parking lot by turning onto West Carter Avenue.

The event will last until supplies run out. Blackshear Church of God is located at 411 W. Carter Avenue.
