Resource fair for grands set for held Sept. 30

The “Grand Hearts, Growing Futures” Resource Fair will take place 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tuesday,  September 30,  at the Pierce County Senior Center, located at 713 Hendry Street in Blackshear.  
A community event designed to connect families with vital services and programs offering information and assistance to grandparents raising grandchildren. Conducted in partnership with Georgia WIC (Women, Infants & Children) and Southern Georgia Regional Commission. The goal of the resource fair is to ensure area grandparents know about the resources in the local community.
“If you would like to share your resource, we would love for you to be here,” says Pierce Senior Center Director Lynn Platt. “Please let me add you to the line-up during the planning process. Mark your calendar to save the date for the resource fair.”
There will be door prizes and refreshments.
