No through traffic is allowed on Church Street between Keller and Ferret Streets in Blackshear due to a sinkhole forming beneath a box culvert in that area. Residents of the area will be permitted to access their homes, but traffic has been blocked off from Keller Street to Bob Bowen Rd.
Please note: the sinkhole is forming beneath a box culvert and is not a huge gaping hole in the ground. The roadway itself is intact. The closure to through traffic is to keep people from driving over it and making it any worse until repairs can be made.
