In this delightful and uproarious comedy, four best friends—Libby Ruth, Deedra, Monette, and Charli—are each yearning to change their lives before it’s too late. They return to their beloved Laurelton Oaks, a wedding venue they know all too well. With Deedra’s recent purchase of the stately property, the group rallies around her, transforming the venue into “Occasionally Yours,” an events center for every kind of new celebration.
Of course, with these women, what could possibly go wrong? Almost everything! Monette—flashy, vivacious, and a bit self-involved—navigates the chaos of yet another divorce. Earthy, tree-hugging Charli is blindsided by a late-blooming midlife crisis. Sweet, sharp Libby Ruth returns to college, only to be distracted by her husband’s suddenly rekindled libido. Meanwhile, headstrong Deedra does her best to fend off the eagle-eyed control of Sedalia, the former owner, who simply refuses to relinquish the reins.
Over the course of one ferociously funny year, the women throw themselves into hosting every imaginable event—baby showers, bachelorette parties, even a memorial service—where everything that can go wrong, does. They’re even roped into another last-minute, improbable wedding. Through laugh-out-loud mishaps and misadventures, these tenacious women grow closer than ever, tickling your funny bone and capturing your heart.
This rollicking, fast-paced Jones Hope Wooten comedy promises endless joy and waves of laughter. Don’t miss your chance—grab your tickets before they’re gone!
