Janet Elaine Jones Janet Elaine Jones, 63, of Blackshear, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 26, 2025. She was born May 22, 1962, in Pompano Beach, Florida, to Oliver Ray Rose and Edna May Rose. She dedicated much of her life to caring for others, both people and animals. She worked as a veterinary technician, a career she deeply cherished, before retiring in 2000. Her compassion, kindness and devotion left a lasting mark on all who knew her. Her life was one filled with love for her family, laughter with friends and a genuine care for every living thing she encountered. She will be remembered for her outgoing personality, her dedication to family and the countless lives she touched. Memorialization was by cremation. Services to honor her life will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on a date to be announced. The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers, support, and kindness during this time of loss.
