PCMS golf teams win 7th straight titles
Pierce County Middle School swept its seventh consecutive Southeast Georgia Middle School Athletic Conference golf titles. It was the 20th overall title for the Bears while the Lady Bears notched their 15th title. Pierce County Middle School’s soccer program is holding a fundraiser with the grand prize a Turtlebox speaker. The drawing will be held Wednesday, March 12. Tickets can be bought from the players or at a home match.

Carter’s wins 8U basketball title
Carter’s (top photo) won the 8U girls basketball title at the Pierce County Recreation Department. The semifinals and championship games wrapping up the season will be contested Friday, February 7 and Saturday, February 8. The Pierce County Hall of Fame (PC HoF) committee is currently working on a list of candidates for the Class of 2024 inductees.
Cord of Three Counseling Services will host its 17th Annual Fore the Family Golf Tournament Sept. 21 at Lakeview Golf Course in Blackshear. Sponsors and participants will take to the fairways to invest in families of our community.
