TWO DEATHS REPORTED IN SATURDAY SHOOTING
Two people were fatally shot Saturday morning, October 25, in the St. Johns Community off Georgia Highway 121 South. Details are scarce, but Sheriff Ramsey Bennett confirmed his office is conducting a “death investigation” in the southern part of the county.
Southern Quality Propane comes to Pierce County
Southern Quality Propane cut the ribbon at their newest location on Oct. 21. Based out of Thomasville, Southern Quality Propane now has five locations, three in Georgia and two in Florida. Brian Owens is the branch manager of the new Blackshear location, which is the newest member of the Pierce County Chamber of Commerce. Free hamburgers and hotdogs, along with raffle prizes, helped celebrate the ribbon cutting.
